Code Snippets

If you have bash commands, queries, log snippets, etc. that you want to store safely, you can store them in a code snippets or similar bucket in Bytebase.

We recommend enabling Show timestamp and Scroll to bottom. This allows you to see your most recently added code snippets immediately upon entering the bucket.

If you'd like to write some notes around your code snippet, then wrap the code in markdown (triple backticks) and write your notes in that byte.

You can then copy just the code from a byte using cmd-k, copy code or the { command.
